Operates Nicely @ Abode!

This app works great when I'grand at home. When I'one thousand on the road the majority of the fourth dimension it won't connect. It'due south says that the drive is offline for the near office or some other lame letters but when I call home the family is watching content off of information technology. I take ii iPhones and two iPads and when I'm on the road it's no practiced. When I'm overseas I take the same effect. I use a VPN to scout my content at home and works fine but overseas and on the route it won't work 95% of the time. Even on my laptop it won't so frustrated with it. I sometimes get the same error messages at domicile, I turn information technology off restart and information technology works. That doesn't all the same fix the on the road part. Some cloud app. I retrieve I'm giving it to much of high rating but since I mostly purchased to back up everything it'due south doing that. Having the capability to get to that info from anywhere is false advertising. I'g sure there is a reasonable explanation but I oasis't heard it yet. Because again it works sometimes simply mostly not.

Needs a niggling piece of work still

The app says the auto upload will work faster if the app is left open. Which is truthful. But if the app isn't open, I don't think machine photo upload works at all. That could use some improvement. Possibly in that location could be a setting that if the bombardment is above a certain level, it will car-upload the photos fifty-fifty with the app airtight. Other than that, I really like both the app and my My Cloud. One other thing that would be squeamish - if I'chiliad scrolling through the photos, when I tap on a pic to come across it, when I go back to the list, the app takes me all the style back to the starting time of the list, instead of back to the place I was. So then I have to scroll all the way through all the listed pics to get back to where I was looking. Kind of a pain, because I unremarkably have no thought where i was since y'all can't meet thumbnails of the pics in the list (thumbnails would be nice). As well, it might be nice if information technology would show an extra depression res pic initially. I know yous can tap on the Hard disk drive button to get the full quality, just even the mid-range quality pics have a long fourth dimension to display, even with a pretty fast device and connection. So the trouble is that if you lot are trying to roll through pics to observe one, it takes forever considering at that place aren't whatever thumbnails to help you lot find the pic, and information technology takes then long to load each individual pic one past one that information technology takes forever.

The product itself is awesome, it does solve a problem that many people take. My trouble is mainly with some functionalities. It feels like the app is old and information technology's a flake wearisome. The navigation bar is divided on photos, music and videos. These should be filters not navigation. The animation on screen transition feels sloppy peculiarly the search field. The fact that we tin can't rename WDSync folder really bothers me but I tin can become over. The fact that there are two WDSync>WDSync>MyFolders is an issue. I would too want to remove/rename the folders under "public" (I deleted them a few times but it came back). I know these are mainly negative feedback merely the goal is to be constructive. The production is great, works well, I realize it's mainly targeted on non-technical users to have it at home only it's a bang-up solution for business too and with minor improvements it can exist nifty for both business concern and consumers.
